It’s lovely when people get behind a great idea, and The National Schools Poetry Competition is no exception!
We are really appreciative of the kind words that our backers have said about us, please see the details below of the wonderful things they have been saying about us, and about the competition we’re running.
I am delighted and privileged to host an event in the House of Lords to mark the culmination of the National Schools Poetry Competition for young people which is the inspirational concept of Tally Koren. She is a dedicated and acclaimed song writer who has a superb vision of young peoples potential to contribute to peace and reconciliation, and I hope her efforts will be fully supported and successful.
Lord Eames OMTally is a great humanitarian, International award winning singer-songwriter, and a peace advocate who has not stopped surprising us.
She has contributed so much towards peace through her beautiful voice. Introducing peace to school children in the form of poetry and competition is so compelling, I have no doubt all the children would like to take part!
